연극 비명자들2 를 보고 저도 비명을 질러봤습니다. 2017년 11월 28일 나루아트센터에서 극단 고래가 공연한 비명자들2 를 봤습니다. 극단 고래는 빨간시 를 시작으로 사라지다 , 살 , 고래 , 불량청년 , 고래햄릿 등 우리 사회의 어두운 면을 반추하는 공연을 해왔습니다. 저도 지난 번에 불량청년 을 감명깊게 봤습니다. 티벳에서 독립운동을 하던 자들이 중국 군인에 의해 포로가 되어 무릎을 꿇고 앉아있습니다. 이들은 중국군의 위협에 굴복하지 않다가 고결한 희생을 당합니다. 중국군의 연이은 총소리와 통역가의 비명, 이를 지켜보는 보현의 울음이 섬뜩하게 울립니다. 비명자들은 우리 주위에 들리는 비명은 우리 모두의 일이며 사회가 외면해서는 안된다는 책임감을 느끼게 해줍니다. 또한 고통은 본인의 것만이 아니라 비명처럼 함께 느끼는 것이며 이 고통의 해결은 서로 위로해주는 것이라는 메시지를 전합니다. 극은 무섭고 기괴하고 잔인한 면도 있지만 마치 불편한 진실이란 말처럼 .
